The Physical Theatre “InZhest” (up to the year 2001 “Gesture”) was founded in 1980 by the students of the Minsk Institute of culture — Slava Inozemcev, Galina Eremina, Tatiana Tsurko, Sergey Shvec, Sergey Masko, a student from Bulgaria Ivan Minchev and others. A leader Slava Inozemcev.

From the time it was delivered more than 15 performances, each of which was, as in school, new class in mastering the art of plastic. From the classic pantomime wrapped, they moved on to the buffonnomu Theatre.  Then there was: a study of clownery Drops in 1986 and Not funny, 1987; plastic improvisation and martial arts of the Orient-a Game without rules (1988); a series of improvisations and performances type „hèppenning“ in the streets, in parks, in different buildings; Phantasmagoria in the style of „sots-art“ Still waters 1990 and others.

Since 1995 develops an original system for training „Dancing Animals“.

Participated in international theatre festivals and joint projects of Belarus, Kiev, St. Petersburg, Moscow, Riga, Odessa, Tyumen, Novosibirsk, as well as in Germany, Switzerland, the Netherlands, Poland, Sweden, Austria, Romania, Slovakia, organized festivals in Minsk pantomime BLAZAN in 1987 and 1989, festivals of plastic theatres X-TRADITION in 2001 and 2002, respectively, the International Theatre Festival OPEN FORMAT (Minsk, 2003), Butoh-dance projects with the theatre TATOÈBA (Germany-Japan) in 1999 and the SU-EN Butoh company (Sweden) in 2001. In 2012 InZhest theatre initiated Forum of physical and dance theatres PLASTFORMA (Minsk 2011-2014).

From 1995 had the opportunity to learn techniques of BUTOH DANCE workshop by Yumiko Yoshioka in Germany and since then uses this technique and style in various joint projects: OstWest (1998, Bonn, Germany), Ex.. .It! 99 (1999, Germany, Poland), Things-time theatre (1999, Netherlands), Festival performances of NAVINKI 1999 and 2000 (Minsk), Festival sztuki bialoruskiej (2000, Poznan, Poland), Winter and Summer camp © SU-EN Butoh Company (2001, Sweden-Belarus) and others.

Since 2001 renamed as “InZhest” theatre. Organised own studio. Work without any state supporting.
